I'm not a terribly good singer, To me I often feel like I have this constipated sound to my singing. I also have a very odd range (Low note is a B flat, High is a G(ish). In the octave I sing in, I can never sing a lot of songs because they go too low for me in the verses. Not sure if that makes any sense XD. Anyway, here is some of my better solo stuff, I generally sing english covers of Kpop because my Korean pronunciation is really bad. I'm more of a mixer than a singer anyway XD

Also, I'm a member of a 6 member Korean language perm group called "Spicy Tteokbokki". I worked really hard on the productions of these if anyone has any comments or wants to hear these. We have released 3 of our 6 planned songs so far, each with a B-side. The admins of the site hosting it were hungry when they thought of the name...

Debut (Friday Night Remix Found Here: Link removed because of ToS

2nd Release (Acoustic Version Found Here: Link removed because of ToS

3rd Release (Orchestral Version Found Here: Link removed because of ToS

Lastly, Here are two Orchestral mixes I made.

Any comments on anything?

Before I start: Please don't post links to mp3 download (like mediafire or box.net directly ><)
The Youtube links are ok though :)

You know you can always work on your range to get past your dead points in singing :)

I only peeked at the covers now :P

Lonely: Sounds cool, esp Dara's parts and the chorus. It's a duet? I kinda don't recognize more than 1 voice *coughs* Some parts seem a bit too low yeah, maybe get rid of that with improvising another fitting note? :P That way you can do your own style (since it's no collab) and still don't have to sing too low? :) Really tiny timing issues, like not really recognizable ^^

It Hurts: The harmonies are really cool :) Really tiny timing issues, too, but yeah nearly nothing's perfect when we cover a song, right? Though I feel at some parts you seem too concentrated on the notes and the technique, so you loose a bit emotions ><

ET: Acoustic Cover is a cool idea Oo I sang that song in original partly some time ago and it sounds easier than it is in real ^^" The part from 0:30 i really like *__* The chorus is really good :) Your voice seems really charming :3 (I feel the urge to sing with you now xD)

"Spicy Tteokbokki"! OMG that sounds kinda.. cool XDD And I'm hungry, so maybe I like it even more now :D Well it's original, it's something to remember, so it's cool :P
You mixed the songs? The mixing is pretty good! :D

Go Away: The CL seems a bit not fierce at some rap-parts >< The Minzy is kinda cool xP The chorus with boy and girl is really great difference, but it's charming xP

Gee: (Sorry to say this, but *fangirls* I LOVE when boys sing Gee *__* XDD) *fangirls boy-voice and totally looses track* XD Love the adlibs :33

Ugly: More tiny timing issues than in the songs before, but still good ^^ Overall it's good, though I have to admit I didn't really like your first verse part, cause the timing is a bit off, i often get unable to listen relaxed then xP

Orchestral Don't Cry: You made the remix here, right? I wanna know how that worksssss, which program do you use? oo It's really cool kinda, i don't really like the original song itself though xP
Orchestral Ugly: It's really relaxing to listen to this *__* It's like a whole new version, really like that ^^

I'm not really good in comments xP

Sorry lol, that version of Lonely was my solo version. It was originally a duet (found on my channel) that I used the video for on my solo version because I was lazy XD. I mixed all of the things above, yes. The remixes are made with Mixcraft and Finale. I wasn't expecting such indepth reviews, just a casual comment. This exceeds what I expected, thanks ^^

Aaaah ok XDD I'm pretty bad in recognizing voices, so~ I didn't know XD

Ah well it's so many covers, I think I would've been unable to give an overall comment, cause all songs have their own charm and own style :)

Uh~ you're pretty good mixer keke :D *bit jealous*XD
Maybe I should try those programs *coughs* I only have Audacity and learn to work with Audition atm |D' Thanks for the advice ^^

You can't expect Miri to leave a casual comment when you put up so much stuff xDD

For me, the casual comment will do though.
I listened through all videos and I agree with Miri that you can work on your voice, trying to improve. When I look at the way I went from my first recordings to my latest, I got really much better.
I funnily found your voice in Gee very fitting and nice, I know barely any guys that cover SNSD to begin with. Some of the girls in the 2NE1 covers are really good.

I love those orchestra versions you made. They are very nice and enjoyable to listen to.

Ahh I wanna listen but I'm at school! >w< I'll try to listen once I get home!
Edit: Hmm I listened to bits and parts of each of the song and I have to say I like your voice better when you sing higher. For Lonely, I think at one point it went too low for you so it sounded very awkward but the higher parts like Dara's part sounded pretty good. When you sing, it's a little emotionless and especially with songs like Go Away that need attitude there's not much attitude showing through so you end up sounding a little bored when you sing? :P A lot of people have this problem and it helps if you really get into the song and put power and emotion behind your voice~ Also your pronunciation needs some work (same with meee :P)~ There are some songs that seem to suit your voice more than others which is natural but yeah just my little opinion~

Can't wait to collaborate with you on the forum! :P

I can't wait to collaborate either, but I'm moving and changing colleges in 2 weeks, so it's best I not sign up for anything until after I get settled XD
