i'm still trying out that tune so please give crit ;-; ♥

erm I don't know much about pitches and ranges and notes and all that, I just comment based on what I hear and feel >.<
but I'll say it's a pretty decent cover ^_^
the original of course is awesomely beautiful so it's hard to live up to that, but you guys managed fairly well
sometimes I missed a lil bit of feeling, but I have that same problem: trying not to sound dead when recording and I still haven't found the solution


you probably know this but the mixing was a bit off, cuz the volume of your friend's singing was very low compared to yours and the chorus wasn't really timed well. that's just technical stuff though ;) the important thing is you had fun recording :3

you can try errr thinking about the meaning of the song while singing..
or feeling the song's emotion while recording..
I tried that and it works somehow at least for me..

and yeah at the technical stuff :(
i feel bad about that cause when she sent her files to me it was mixed to the instrumental and she didn't time it to the mp3..
so i couldn't make the instrumental louder than it already is.. @__@
and she didn't have the solo vocal track which pretty much screwed my ability to mix it on cue with the mp3 @__@;;
